Sylvia Ann Perez

Sylvia Ann Perez, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in San Antonio, Tx on Sunday, December 19, 1954, with a heart full of grace and a spirit rooted in selflessness, Sylvia dedicated her life to nurturing those she loved most.

She is preceded in death by her parents Pedro Narezo and Juanita Saenz Narezo, and brothers Johnny Narezo and Johnny Joe Narezo.

Sylvia married Jose Fidel Perez in 1973, and together they built a legacy of love and resilience. Sylvia was the proud mother of five children Casandra Ann Perez, April Lynn Perez, Jose Fidel Perez Jr., Mark Anthony Perez, Andrew Jay Perez, and Lorenzo Perez. She is also survived by her son-in-law Rudy Cruz; daughters-in-law, Kimberly Perez, Ashley Perez, Amber Perez; siblings, Pedro Narezo, Mary Lou Adams, Diane Peche, Linda Narezo, Rick Narezo, David Narezo and Elizabeth Narezo. Her legacy continues through her cherished 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

Sylvia’s family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them. She was beautiful inside and out. Her warmth radiated through her cooking, her laughter, and the gentle care she gave to her daughter Casandra. She found purpose in the everyday acts of love—welcoming visits from her family, preparing meals that brought everyone together, and offering comfort with a quiet strength that never wavered.

She took immense pride in the family she raised, and her legacy lives on in the lives she shaped with her kindness, her devotion, and her unwavering love.

Sylvia Perez will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.
