Juan Ernesto Peralta of Natalia, Tx, was born August 11, 1967, in Pearsall, Tx. At the age of 58, he was called home to the Lord on January 22, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Adraine Vinton Elizando; uncle, Santos Saldana Perez, and granddaughter, Ariana Aguinaga.
Juan is survived by his wife, Dora Peralta; father, Juan Peralta Jr. (Mary); children, Amanda Aguinaga (Johnny), Antonio “Nano” Ramirez (Misti), Juan E. Peralta Jr. (Tiffany), Guadalupe Francisco Peralta; siblings, Manuel Peralta (Jody), Armando Peralta, Bonnie Gonzales, Bobby Peralta, Johnell Peralta, Christopher Peralta (Ursela), Delfina Arellano (Francisco), Timoteo Elizondo Jr (Anabelle) Jose Elizondo, Juan Elizondo (Lori); grandchildren, Robyn Alonzo, Alani, Adacei, Frank Jr., Aidan, Arielle, Alec, Zack, Pinelope, Zeke, Juan III, Nova Jernie, Ethan, Emmalia, Julian; one great-grandson Alijah Rey Aguinaga, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Juan, also known as Ernie, but most importantly Grandpa, was a dedicated and hardworking husband, father, and grandpa. Whether it be at the field supporting his children and grandchildren or taking everyone on vacation, family was number one to him. His love for the community and church knew no bounds. Serving others brought him joy and blessed many. Truly, he was a man who had a heart for his family and friends and was always willing to lend a hand. He is loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Lytle, Tx, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia, Tx with interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Devine Tx.
