Andres “Andy” Treviño, 56, of Leming, passed away on August 26, 2025, in Harlingen, Tx. He was born on May 12, 1969, in Abilene, Tx, to Alfred and Asunción Valdez Treviño.
He is survived by his father, Alfred Treviño; brothers, Ramiro Treviño (Claudia), Alfred Treviño Jr.; nieces, Kaitlin Rae Treviño, Ariel Mendez; great nephew and nieces, Azrael Niko Martinez, Kailee Sophia Martinez, Aliyah Mendez; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
Andy is preceded in death by his mother, Asunción Treviño, his grandparents, cousins, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Those who knew Andy will remember him for his fun loving and easy-going spirit. He enjoyed going to the movies, attending concerts, traveling, and watching the UT Longhorn games. As a child, he loved fishing and creating lasting memories with his family. In later years, he found joy in cooking and baking, often sharing his creations with those around him. His kindness, laughter, and warm personality will be deeply missed.
Services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Leming. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a rosary at 10:30 a.m. and funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Leming.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Alex Valdez, Victor Valdez, Valdemar Valdez, Alfred Rodriguez, Nick Ortiz, and Ramiro Trevino.
Andy will be forever cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.
